10. Capricorn  (Calcarea phos)

It is the tenth earthy and movable sign of the zodiac called Capricorn and governs the knees of the human body. People born from December 21st to January 21 goes under this Rasi.

Calcarea Phos: It is a principal salt  used in  the bony framework of our body. It uses albumen as a cement to build up bone structure. Calcarea phos is absolutely essential for the proper growth and nutrition of the body. It is also found in  plasma, corpuscles, saliva, bones, gastric juice, connective tissue, teeth, milk etc. It gives solidity to the bones for growth and development. It regulates calcium metabolism, brittle bones- osteoporosis, rickets, osteomalacia, osteomyelitis, spinal osteoporosis, dowager’s hump, curvature of bone, mal-assimilation, bone injuries, sacro -iliac or hip problems in elderly. It is a good remedy in hip replacement. Calcarea phos and calcarea flour should be given to a child for inner structure and outer enamel of teeth. In painful teething it should be rubbed into the gums. It increases the quality and quantity of milk in case of breast feeding. It is used in chronic hydrocephalus, TMJ disease, stiff neck due to cold, loss of memory, anxiety, hate to do mental work, freckles and pimples in teenagers.  It is a great remedy for anaemia. A deficiency shows clammy feet and hands, cold sweets with numbness, wake up with foul smell in mouth, sore throat caused by  too much speaking, flatulence and heartburn. Calcarea phos person will be thin,  friendly, love to travel, active physically as well as mentally, very sensitive and fond of sports. Their mind wanders from one subject to another, complaining all the time- ‘hard to please them’. They tear up paper again and again, overwhelmed. It is a chronic remedy of ignatia, frustrated, sighing, hypersensitive to smoke. Tendency of cold and sore throats goes away after using it. Calcarea phos deficiency will show white spots on the nails and sweaty palms. It is  a good remedy in tobacco craving, menopause and intolerance of cold wet weather, snow melts and they feel stiff all over. Their  legs are cold from the knees to the feet.
