मनुष्य जीवन का उद्देश्य क्या है?

मनुष्य एक बहुत ही अद्धभूत  प्राणी है। पर यह बड़े आश्चर्य की बात है कि वो खुद से ही अंजान है। उसे यह ज्ञात ही नहीं कि  वो एक शक्ति पुंज है जिसके लिये कुछ भी कर गुजरना असंभव नहीं। दुःख इस बात का है कि भौतिक सुख  की चाह में जीवन का मकसद ही भुला बैठा है। उसके पास इतना समय ही नहीं होता की वो स्वयं के पास कुछ समय बिता सके। स्वयं को जान सके। भीतर की आवाज़ सुन सके। जब तक उसे इस बात का अहसास होता है तो  बहुत देर हो चुकी होती है। कहावत  तो है कि जब जाग तभी सबेरा। पर यह शरीर; अग्नि, पृथ्वी, वायु, जल, आकाश एवं मन, बुद्धि, अहंकार से निर्मित है और हमारी कामनाओं का पुतला सूक्ष्म रूप से इसके भीतर अपनी जड़ें जमा-ये बैठा रहता है। वक्त के साथ साथ ये जड़ें इतनी मजबूत हो जाती हैं कि हम चाह के भी निकाल नहीं सकते और यह मनुष्य जीवन शेष हो जाता है। कर्मों के कई और बंधन चाहते न चाहते बनते जाते हैं। फिर वही जन्मों जन्म का सिलसिला शुरू; फिर वही आपा -धापी। जब तक "राग और द्वैष" इन दो मूल भूत तत्वों को नहीं समझा जाएगा, मनुष्य और पशु पक्षी  में कोई अंतर नहीं रह जाएगा। खाना, पीना, संतति पैदा करना; ये सब तो पशु- पक्षी भी करते हैं, तो फिर मनुष्य और पशु पक्षियों में क्या अंतर रह जाता है। कहते हैं; असंख्यों जन्म के बाद कभी कोई प्रभु कृपा हुई तो यह मनुष्य चोगा प्रदान होता है। हम महावीर, बुद्ध, कबीर, नानक, मीरा, को पढ़ते हैं, पूजते हैं,  पर उस राह पर चलने की सोचते नहीं। भगवान महावीर को क्या कमी थी; राजा के घर जन्म, अथाह संपत्ति, धन- दौलत, रूप, गुण वगैरह वगैरह…..तो फिर वो क्या ऐसी वस्तु होगी जिसे प्राप्त करने की ख़ातिर बत्तीस वर्ष की उम्र में ही वैराग्य को धारण किया?  कुछ तो अवश्य महत्वपूर्ण होगा जिसे प्राप्त करने की चाह में  इतने वैभव को छोड़ा। क्यों केवल हम उनकी आरती उतारते हैं, चंदन लगाते हैं , भजन गाते हैं पर उनकी तरह बनने को कदम नहीं बढ़ाते। मूर्तियों की पूजा करते हैं पर सही मायने में उनका अनुकरण नहीं करते। गीता, बाइबिल, कुरान, गुरुग्रंथ साहिब, उत्तराध्ययन सूत्र हर एक ग्रंथ सत्य, अहिंसा, अस्तेय, अपरिग्रह एवं ब्रह्मचर्य  से जुड़ा है। हम पढ़ते तो हैं पर अपने जीवन में नहीं ढालते। अगर इनके भीतर छिपे एक भी तत्व को अपना लिया जाए तो मनुष्य जन्म सफल हो जाए। धर्म कोई कौम नहीं होती यह तो जीवन जीने का सलीका होता है। हमने फजूल का ही स्वयं को बाँट रक्खा है। असल में यह हमारे भीतर का तनाव है जो हम दूसरों की काट छांट में लगा देते हैं। हम स्वयं की खोज नहीं करते। भीतर छिपे अथाह समुद्र के मोतियों को नहीं चुन पाते तो बाहर कंकर- पत्थर खोजते फिरते हैं। हमारी सभी लड़ाइयाँ स्वयं के भीतर ही उत्पन्न होती हैं और हम उन्हें बाहरी समाधान से निर्मूल करना चाहते हैं; जो संभव नहीं। माना हमें इस भीतरी ज्ञान की पहचान नहीं। पर इसे भी हम कहाँ स्वीकार करते हैं। हमारा अहम् तो हमसे कई गुणा बड़ा होता है जो कर्त्तापन के अहंकार को पुष्ट करता रहता है।भगवान कहते हैं कि "जीवन क्षणभंगुर है प्रमाद मत कर"। पर कहाँ कौन सुनता है। हर कोई भीड़ में शामिल, बिना जाने, बिना सोचे दौड़ लगा रहा है।

Translated:

Man is a very wonderful creature.  But it is very surprising that he is unknown by himself.  He does not know that he is a 'power-house' for whom nothing is   impossible.  It is a matter of sorrow that the purpose of life is forgotten in the desire for material happiness.  He does not have enough time to spend  with himself.  To know yourself:  hear the inner voice.  By the time he realizes this, it is too late.  The saying is that only when awake is the morning.  But this body;  Fire is created from earth, air, water, sky and mind, intellect, ego, and the effigy of our desires is microscopically rooted in its roots - it sits there.  Over time, these roots become so strong that we cannot remove them even after wishing, and this human life remains.  Many more bondages of deeds are made without wanting.  Then the cycle of births started;  Then the same calamity.  As long as "raga and duality" will not be understood by these two basic ghost elements, there will be no difference between man and animal bird.  Eating, drinking, procreation;  All these animals and birds also do, so what is the difference between humans and animal birds.  it is said;  If there is any kind of God grace after innumerable births then this man will be bestowed.  We read, worship, worship Mahavira, Buddha, Kabir, Nanak, Meera, but do not think of walking on that path.  What Lord Mahavira lacked;  In the king's house birth, unfathomable wealth, wealth, wealth, qualities, etc., etc., then what would be the thing that he took to renunciation at the age of thirty-two for the sake of obtaining it?  There must be something important that has left so much glory in the desire to achieve it.  Why only we perform their aarti, chanting sandals, singing hymns but do not move to become like them.  We worship idols but do not follow them in the true sense.  The Gita, Bible, Quran, Gurugranth Sahib, Uttaradhyayana Sutra are associated with each of the texts Truth, Ahimsa, Astey, Aparigraha and Brahmacharya.  We study but do not mold ourselves in life.  If any element hidden within them is adopted then human birth will be successful.  Religion is not a community; it is the way to live life.  We have divided Fazool itself.  Actually, it is the tension within us that we cut off from others.  We do not search for ourselves.  If they are unable to choose the pearls of the deep sea hidden inside, then they go out searching for stones and stones.  All our battles arise within ourselves and we want to eliminate them from external solutions;  Which is not possible.  Suppose we do not recognize this inner knowledge.  But where do we accept it too? Our ego is many times bigger than us, which reinforces the ego of duty. God says that "Life is fleeting, don't be dejected".  But where does one listen? Everyone is running in the crowd, without knowing, running without thinking.
