BIOCHEMIC TISSUE SALT THERAPY

In 1870 a German  doctor William schussler, invented a theory of Biochemic tissue salts. He discovered by studying the  ash residue of human cells that there were twelve mineral salts in these cells. So he theorized that many diseased and maladies were actually caused by mineral imbalances within the body.

Under ordinary conditions,  enough of the inorganic salts may supplied by the food to replace those lost in the process of metabolism. But when the body's power of assimilation fails due to disease it can be supplied by outside in assimilable form and body again start to work as before disease, due to regain of its vital force or life force.  These twelve inorganic tissue salts are:

             

1.KALI  PHOSPHRICUM:

It is the grey matter of the brain by uniting albumen and oxygen. It is also called a tonic of nerve and brain cells. Other salts are also needed but brain can not do its function without it.

• All mental and nerve  troubles, depression, insomnia, irritability, hysteria, sensitiveness, headaches, paralysis, weak memory (alzheimer's), drug addiction, chronic fatigue syndrome, yawning, hyperventilation, nightmares in children, wakes up screaming and talks in sleep are due to lack of Kali Phosphate.
• It is also a convalescent remedy after stroke (Arnica-in immediate case).
• Bad breath, receding gums, septic gangrene, paralysis, is also require Kali phosphate.
• A person will feel fresh if he or she    takes this tissue salt before examination, travelling, operation or  job interview.
• Rays may destroy cancerous cells as well as healthy cells but kali phos is used most successfully in the treatment of cancer with kali mur, kali sulph and ferrum phos  without any side effect.

2. NATRUM SULPH:

The chief work of natrum sulph is to eliminate excess water from the body. In hot moist weather the blood becomes overcharged with water due to  moist atmosphere; not from the water we drink. The bile of liver, pancreatic juices and kidney all require proper supply of natrum sulph for their normal function.

• If a diabetic patient takes natrum sulph twice a day before meal and natrum phos after meal  will help to cure its diabetes within a year.
• Sore throats and frequent cold are also the causes of non-functioning of digestive system.
• Jaundice, infectious fever  (dengu, influenza), stiffness of spine, uric acid, tapeworm, warts near anus, pus or mucus in urine, enlargement of prostate (with sabal serrulata), leucorrhoea with hoarseness, sour vomiting at pregnancy, morning cough, itching of toes  at the time of undressing require Natrum sulph.
• It is similar to Arnica. Its headache starts from the base of neck and goes at top of head (sun headache).
• History of past head injuries may cause blindness, asthma, epilepsy etc.
• Music gives anger and sometime suicidal tendency.
• Natrum sulph deficiency  may give hereditary loose motion or sudden diarrhoea with great bursting flatulence.
• Its tongue is dirty, brownish green coating or grayish green, bitter taste and blister on palate. It's  all diseases are related to damp cold weather, always feel best in warm dry air.

Taurus is the  second earthy sign of zodiac. All the problems of lower brain or cerebellum, neck, ears, lower jaw, throat is generally controlled by Natrum sulph.

                    

3. KALI MURIATICUM:

It is the second stage of inflammations of serous membranes when the exudations are fibrinous character. Every tissue and organ of the  body, except bone, contain fibrin. Human beings whole garment of flesh is made up of Fibres.

• Lack of kali mur  gives catarrh, congestion of bronchial tubes, swollen glands, mumps, sore throats, enlarged rheumatic joints and swollen tonsils.
• All children's disease as measles, chicken pox, scarlet fever wants Kali Mur.
• White or grey coating is found at the base of tongue.
• Kali mur and ferrum phos should be given at the  first stage of cold. It keeps bronchial tube clear and prevent cough developing. Calcarea phos should be added as a tonic after a bad cold or influenza.
• Externally, it should  be used in skin affections  where burning sensation is found.  

 It is third airy sign of zodiac called Gemini. It rules bronchial tubes and lungs, shoulders, arms, hands and fingers. Kali mur governs the formation of fibrin  according to Bishnupada Bhattacharya.

                    

4. CALCAREA FLUORICA:

It is an important constituent of the enamel of  teeth, finger, nails, bones, crystalline lens of the eye and elastic fibres of all muscular tissues in the skin, connective tissue and  vascular walls.

• Loss of calcarea flour in the system gives hard knotty exudations on the surface of bones, lymphatic glands,  tumours in the female breast or wrist, contraction of joints, carpal tunnel syndrome, joints slip out of socket, trick knees, one elbow is bigger than other, weakness of tendon and ligament of ankles, bruises of bone surface, hardening arteries, haemorrhoids, fissures of anus, bed sores, varicose ulcers, cataracts, blurred vision, pain in eye etc.
• It strengthens the tooth enamel; so children upto age seven should be used for better new teeth. All the metabolic problems generally flush out by its use with a combination of calcarea phos.
• Disc problem, slipped disc, herniated disc, severe back pain, injuries and curvature of  spinal cord, scoliosis of elderly person (silicea-*first); big remedy of stiffness.
• Cracked skin, chapped hands or wrist, tinnitus or deafness due to calcium deposit in the ears, adenoids or enlarged tonsils in children and in adults, vomiting of undigested food(*first- ferrum phos), displacement of uterus; all are treated by calcarea flour.
• It is a great remedy of carpenters, massage therapist, rough cracked hands.
• Mental emotions- Fear of poverty and for this purchases lots of insurance, groundless fear of financial ruin,  nervousness. 5. MAGNESIUM  PHOSPHORICUM;

It is a great anti pain remedy. Cramping of muscles with radiating pain, neuralgic pain, tired, languid, exhausted all are relieved by  magnesia phos.

• The pain of magnesia will always be sudden or lightning either    toothache, headache, cramps, paralysis or epilepsy.
• Twitching  pain in face, convulsions, sciatica or rheumatism,  back pain injuries, hiccoughs, spasm, spasmodic abdominal pain,  whooping cough, cramp, dysmenorrhoea, migraine, parkinson's disease, acute carpal tunnel  syndrome (chronic-*cacareal flour), TMJ problem, trigeminal nerve (mastication muscles), Whiplash injury (neck cramp- bryonia, rhus tox,  hypericum).
• It is a great remedy for musicians, typer or doing some extra work of fingers and wrist called writer’s cramp. It works on swimmer’s ear- a very painful nerve pain (in blockage-*kali mur).
• The three salts (magnesia phos, kali phos, ferrum phos) taken in rotation will cover practically all cases of tiredness. Biochemic magnesia phos should be  used in warm water.

 It is the fifth fiery sign  of zodiac called Leo. It governs heart to  relieve pain or heart attacks by giving frequent doses.

                   

6. KALI SULPHURICUM:

It is the oxygen carrier to the epidermis and epithelial cells of the skin and membranes. Like ferrum phos this salt is found in nearly all the cells containing iron. It is generally applicable in the later state of inflammation.

• Its deficiency will give weariness, heaviness, chilliness, headache, pain in the limbs or vertigo. It is also found in the scalp and hair. When this salt is lacking -we get dandruff or falling hair, skin eruptions secreting yellowish oily matter, dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, itching at night, leucorrhoea, vaginitis, yellow stools,  diarrhoea and coating on tongue, gastro duodenal catarrh, ringworm, anaemia and bronchitis.
• Kali sulph and kali mur helps to build the skin and membranes.
• Coughing gives globs of yellow mucus and  discharge. It is a good remedy for children.
• It is the chronic of pulsatilla. In old age  the oil contain of human body diminishes hence looks dry and shrivelled. Skin, hair, intestinal tract, bones all wants oil. Portal vein is  congested so biliousness or constipation happens.

It is the sixth earthy sign of zodiac called virgo. It rules the navel portion. The solar plexus is the great receiving station of energy from the back brain for assimilation processes. So stomach and bowels are affected when a person  becomes worried or upset. Kali sulph deficiency causes the oil in the tissues to thicken and clog these safety valves of the human machines and then comes catarrh.

                    

7. NATRUM PHOSPHATE:

It is the remedy  for conditions arising due to excess of lactic acid, often resulting from too much sugar. It is also called sodium phosphate and its function is to preserve the balance between acids and the normal fluids of the body. It reduces gases due to its alkalinity. Yellow or creamy coating at the back of the roof of mouth and tongue is found. Nerves, muscles, joints and digestive organs are its main regions.

• It act as an antacid to maintain the acid -base balance of the body. It works in suffering of heartburn, indigestion, gas, upset stomach, gastric acid reflux, gout, rheumatism of joints, sourness in saliva, uric acid in perspiration. Joint acidity goes in chest and resemble as a heart pain.
• Eczema near ankle with intolerable itching. Jaundice(natrum phos 1x), acidic headache, cracking of joints, eye infection-yellow discharge (Argentum nitricum), worms, flatulence, diabetes, bladder weakness, greenish diarrhoea, regurgitation of food, urine incontinence , and obesity is also controlled by this tissue salt.
• In case of ulceration in the stomach by over acidity- Calcarea sulph is also to be given.
• Sufficient natrum phos means no gall stone.  But if a person has gallstones; mag phos is required for a long time  to dissolve the stones.

 It is the seventh airy sign of zodiac called Libra. The parts of the body governed by it is  loins, lumbar region and kidneys.

                      

8. CALCIUM SULPHATE:

It  has a close relation to supperations. It cures the purulent discharge from the mucous membranes as well as tubercular ulcers or abscesses of the intestines and ulcers of the cornea etc. The general indication is ‘pus with a vent’. Sulphur is known as a great purifier.  Therefore calcarea sulph is a cleansing and healing agent. When this salt becomes deficient ; the lining of the stomach becomes injured and ulcer occurs. It is very essential salt as it makes a layer within stomach,  so acid and other fluids can’t  make any harm.

• It is required in hair falling, seasonal diarrhoea, swelling of breast (mastitis), swelling of kidney, nephritis, pus or boil in prostate, rheumatism, spermatorrhoea, chronic cystitis, hip joint diseases, gum boils, blood due to brushing of teeth, dry eczema, bronchitis, nose bleeding, hidrosis, pus in tonsil or in lungs.
• In acne kali brom 3x is the first remedy then calcarea sulph. Late and long lasting periods in women, pus in urine, continued pus in any epithelium tissue, lupus vulgaris (acute stage of skin cancer), eye swelling, twitching or discharge,  half object is seen through eye, and burning and itching of soles of feet can only be cured by calcarea sulph.

It is the eighth watery sign of zodiac called Scorpio. It is a sign  of destruction and new construction. It governs the pelvis, the kidneys, bladder, prostrate, rectum etc.

                    

9. SILICEA:

It is nature’s surgeon. Where there is pus to be discharged this salt is indicated.

• Boils, abscesses, carbuncles etc. where pus has formed, it is effective in discharging the pus. Silicea and calcarea flour are complementary medicines. It gives strength to nerves and keeps them in proper tension. Lack of silicea may give nervous disorder.
• Its deficiencies may seen in one or all cells of  hair, skin and nails. Take silicea for few days and skin will be smooth, nails become healthy and falling of hair will be stopped. It is the body’s vacuum cleaner and it throws out all the waste or septic condition  of boils.
• Silicea patient can’t cover its feet at night due to burning soles. They can’t digest milk, feeling hair on tongue, bad odour in perspiration, excess sweating of scalp of infant, blocked tear ducts, bad effect of vaccinations in new born baby, lack of confidence, dental and gum infection, weak ankles, want of vital heat etc.
• A few doses of silicea make  head of boil, it will burst and pus flows out.
• Glass, wood splinters, foreign bodies comes out  by the use of silicea.
• Premature baby require  silicea and calcarea phos. Silicea baby is called ‘aristocrate child’.

It is the ninth fiery sign  of zodiac called Sagittarius rules the hips, thighs and blood vessels.

                   

10.  CALCIUM PHOSPHATE:

It is a principal salt  used in  the bony framework of our body. It uses albumen as a cement to build up bone structure. Calcarea phos is absolutely essential for the proper growth and nutrition of the body. It is also found in blood plasma and corpuscles, saliva, bones, gastric juice, connective tissue, teeth, milk etc. It gives solidity to the bones for growth and development.

•  It regulates calcium metabolism, brittle bones- osteoporosis, rickets, osteomalacia, osteomyelitis, spinal osteoporosis, dowager’s hump, curvature of bone, mal-assimilation, bone injuries, sacro iliac or hip problems in elderly. It is a good remedy in hip replacement.
• Calcarea phos and calcarea flour should be given to a child for inner structure and outer enamel of teeth. In painful teething it should be rubbed into the gums.
• It increases the quality and quantity of milk in case of breast feeding.
• It is used in chronic hydrocephalus, TMJ disease, stiff neck due to cold, loss of memory, anxious, hate to do mental work, freckles and pimples in teenagers.
• It is a great remedy for anaemia. A deficiency shows clammy feet and hands, cold sweets with numbness, wake up with foul smell in mouth, sore throat caused by  too much speaking, flatulence and heartburn.
• Calcarea phos person will be thin,  friendly, love to travel, active physically as well as mentally, very sensitive and fond of sports. There mind wonders from one subject to another, complaining all the time- ‘hard to please them’. They tear up paper again and again, overwhelmed.
• It is a chronic remedy of ignatia, frustrated, sighing, hypersensitive to smoke. Tendency of cold and sore throats goes away after using it.
• Calcarea phos deficiency will show white spots on the nails and sweaty palms.
• It is  a good remedy in tobacco craving, menopause and intolerant of cold wet weather, snow melts and they feel stiff all over. Their  legs are cold from the knees to the feet.

It is the tenth earthy sign  of zodiac called Capricorn and governs knees of human body.

11. NATRUM MURIATICUM:

It is a common salt of our daily life, It is too crude to assimilate  in the body. It is found in every tissue and fluid and a regulator of the fluid substance in the body. Natrum mur is needed in all cases where disturbance in the distribution of water, surface is either too dry or too moist.

• Lack of natrum mur may cause sleeplessness, itching and  eczema.
• Calcarea sulph added in case of burning. Ferrum phos needed in case of   inflammation and redness. Kali mur is needed In long cases where tissues have degenerated and fibrin  wanted.
• Lots of sneezing, mouth sores, cracks in the corner of lips and gums that tends to bleed easily, craving for salts, salty saliva, numbness in the hands and legs, watery blisters in body, puffiness around eyes and face, dryness, throbbing headache like hammering, fluttering motion of heart, allergants or sensitive to sun, introverted and inability to pass urine and stool in front of others.

It is the eleventh  airy sign of  zodiac called Aquarius governs lower portion of knees.

                    

12. FERRUM  PHOSPHATE:

This element is contained in the red blood corpuscles and possess ‘the property of attracting oxyzen’ from inhaled air. Health can not be maintained without a proper balance of iron in the blood. Any disturbance in this salt gives inflammation, redness, heat, fever, congestion, throbbing, swelling.
